shade of the sweetbay

a tall, lofty tree with waxy leaves.  a semi-evergreen.  with soft lemon scented, creamy white blooms.  a perfect specimen shade tree.  one day, mine will be glorious.  and i will sit under it, think back on my days, and smile.
